Melbourne Wind Ensemble – Shannon Ebeling

Two of our great wind band conductors, Dr Jo Heaton and Dr Jemima Bunn, have restarted the Melbourne Wind Ensemble for a special concert. This group features an amazing line-up of accomplished musicians and I’m honoured to be performing on lead alto saxophone with some doubling on soprano.

The program has a wonderful blend of works with music by Hultgren, Barber, Alarcón and a transcription of one of my favourites, Danzon No.2 by Márquez.

Come along for a wonderful afternoon of music alongside the impressive ensembles of Carey Baptist Grammar School.
